BOARD MEETINGS

Board meetings are an important time for the board to meet and discuss chapter business. You should have an agenda, and offer  an open forum for discussion of ideas, events, etc. Sometimes you will need to discuss delicate issues such as waiving a member’s dues for financial need. Thus, board meetings should be attended only by board members. If a member wishes to make a presentation to the board, it is best to schedule this at the beginning or end of the meeting. Board meetings should be listed on your chapter calendar without a time or location. Board meetings may take place in the evening with unanimous consent of ALL board members. If you have any questions on what to discuss at your board meetings, contact your Primary Coordinator.
