BANKING

All checks should have TWO signatures.  The signers should be elected officers.  Some banks may not require this, but it is required by the MOMS Club corporation.  When processing a reimbursement for yourself, you should have 2 other people sign it, if at all possible.

Debit cards are highly discouraged, as they do not have a way to require 2 signatures and are harder to monitor.

Bank statements should be mailed to an officer who does not hold the checkbook or is not a signer on the account.  That officer should review bank statements before they are passed on to the Treasurer.
