Ever have a hard time spotting other MOMS Club members at a crowded park or activity? Here’s what one chapter does!
I am a member of the Ithaca, NY, chapter and came up with an idea last fall when we joined. We’re a large group and it’s difficult to know if someone else at a public play date, such as the park, is part of the group. Especially when you are new to the group. So, we are tying black and white polka dot ribbons to our purses/diaper bags to publicly show our membership. That way, you aren’t introducing yourself to random strangers and asking if they are part of the Moms Club too. It’s been working really well for us! — Laura
Such an easy id! Almost like a secret code, and a colorful one!

This is an issue for many chapters….. I would be nice if the international had tshirts ( in all sizes) and those rubber bracelet’s for chapters to purchase….Why don’t we??
The main reason is that it is quite expensive to offer t-shirts to a group and ensure that you have enough of the right sizes. Many chapters order their own. It’s a lot easier for a chapter because they can check with each member to see what size they want and only order what is required.
What a great idea!
This is a great idea!! I am our chapters new membership v.p. and I’ve been trying to figure out a way to fix this issue. Thanks a lot Moms!
Several years back our chapter had kids t-shirts made for the kids that had the logo and said “I’m a MOMS club kid!” They were fun and it was easy to spot our kiddos at the park/public outings.
I love the ribbon idea – good thinking!!
