Nadine Arndt Family

Morgan Brinker

Springtime is always a time of change — and this spring has a bitter sweet change coming May 1st for Conference 4, which covers the Northeast portion of the US.

Nadine Arndt, our Conference Coordinator there, has asked to be allowed to step down from her position, after 17 years of volunteering for International (including 12 as Conference Coordinator).

While she loves the MOMS Club and working with the volunteers and chapters, most of Nadine’s children are grown, and she and her husband have started a new — additional — business with an expanding portfolio of rental properties that she is managing. That business is taking more time than she has, having devoted so much of her life till now to the MOMS Club, so she’s decided it’s time to focus on her business and let others take the reins of the Conference.

Stepping up as her successor is the very capable Morgan Brinker.

Morgan is a New England native, having been born in New Hampshire. She graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a dual Bachelor of Science in Geography and Anthropology — with a minor in Theater! She was hired in college to work on digital mapping and soon became a coordinator for the company’s boundaries editing group after graduation.

She moved to Massachusetts, where she lives now with her husband and three children Since that move, she’s worked in banking and started her own mobile massage business, in which she also teaches massage to nurses and care providers.

Morgan joined the MOMS Club of Hubbardston, MA, over 10 years ago, and was president of that chapter for 4 years, joining the International team a little over 7 years ago. Morgan volunteers not only for the MOMS Club, but for CERT (Citizens Emergency Response Team), and is the chairperson for her school district’s Special Education Parents Advisory Counsel team, Cub Scout Den Leader and Coordinator for her Parrish’s Children’s Liturgy program.

She says her two sons, daughter and husband are very musical — the family, combined, plays the trumpet, trombone, violin, guitar and piano — and Morgan eagerly participates as an encouraging audience.

Morgan has been working closely with Nadine over the past months, in preparation for this change over, and we’re looking forward to her energy in her new position. Her goals for the Conference are to bring back Luncheons and Workshops across the Conference. An avid people person, she’s looking forward to building friendships across the Conference and to help grow the chapters and influence of the MOMS Club in their communities.

Welcome Morgan! Nadine, words can’t express how sad we are to see you go, but we understand and really appreciate not only all that you’ve done through the years, but how well you’ve prepared Morgan for following you.

Morgan would like the moms in Conference 4 to know there are openings on the MOMS Club volunteer team and now is the perfect time to join up! As officers’ terms end with their chapters, now is a great time to continue with the MOMS Club on the International level. Whether your interests lie in behind the scenes work or hands-on helping chapters, let Morgan know that you’re interested! You can contact her at
