Project Linus aims to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans. The MOMS Club of Las Vegas-NW, NV wanted to do their part to help these children and decided that they would become blanketeers and would help create some blankets.

Members donated money, material and, most importantly, their time to create 30 blankets (both in infant and larger sizes). The blankets, completed just in time for the holidays, are now en route to children at the Coles Foundation (children with cancer), SafeNest (children of domestic violence), and the NICU at their local hospital.

It was a really fun project for the chapter and the moms were very proud of their creations and how many children would be able to find a little more comfort because of their efforts.
