For the 3rd year in a row, the moms from the MOMS Club Woodbury – South, MN have organized a Holiday Boutique to benefit a local organization.
This year, they decided to work with Tapestry Pregnancy and Family Resource Center. The project started with a diaper collection. Initially, they planned to purchase $1,000 worth of diapers to donate they ultimately decided to double their effort and purchased over $2,000 worth of diapers.
To take things a step further, and help the Center even more, the chapter then hosted a Holiday Boutique. The Boutique was a great kick-off to the holiday season giving the public an opportunity to do some early holiday shopping with over 25 local vendors. People who attended were asked to bring a new or gently used items from the Center’s wish list.
In the end, the donation included not only the 80 cases of diapers purchased by the chapter but a plethora of baby and children’s supplies. It took 3 minivans to deliver all the donations to Tapestry.
