MOMS Club of Hickory did a donation drive for families affected by Hurricane Florence. Before Hurricane Florence even hit land, all the meteorologists had it heading straight for our town, and of course we all prepared the best we could. Fortunately, the storm missed us, but the coast wasn’t as lucky. We wanted to do something for them and provide items to families who have lost so much. We collected donations that included diapers, baby wipes, formula, bottled water, and other necessities that we, as moms, knew families with young ones could not live without. It is our hope that, through our donations, we’ve made some family’s lives a little bit easier in this time of need.
