Our chapter recently participated in our town’s annual Blues Festival. It is always a large event for our community. We hosted a “Mom & Tot
Rest Stop”. We obtained donations from local businesses, including cups, napkins, coloring books/crayons for kids, tattoos, meal coupons. With donations
we received from Kroger and Wal-Mart, we purchased juice boxes and pouches. We incorporated our bake sale benefiting the Share Our Strength Great
American Bake Sale.
Our rest stop included a nursing nook, changing tables and shaded areas for the little ones to cool off and play, as well as information about the
MOMS Club. At the end of the day, we passed out hundreds of juice boxes and pouches to children, offered parents refreshments and raised $295 in donations
for the Great American Bake Sale! We had many potential members sign up and made sure that the MOMS Club of Lebanon’s presence was well-known in our community.
