On September 10th 2022, the MOMS Club of Lompoc joined the Sleep in Heavenly Peace project to Build Beds Across America. The event was held at our local Home Depot. MOMS Club of Lompoc provided snacks for volunteers, sheets and no-sew blankets, and donated time to build beds for kids in need so that no child sleeps on the floor in our town.
This event was a team building effort in our own club as we gathered to make our no-sew blankets, came together with donations, but also allowed us to build a connection with another nonprofit in our area. We were thankful to be able to contribute to our community with such a wonderful organization.
