FUNDRAISING
Your charity/service project must be designated BEFORE any fundraising begins. The membership should first decide they want to support the Red Cross relief efforts, and then that holding a garage sale is how they will fund a donation. And remember that there are many important, helpful projects that will not require funds, such as staffing the food bank’s holiday gift room.
All fundraising needs to go toward your service project. Monies raised cannot be used for administration of your chapter, or for members-only expenses.
The only other expense chapters may raise funds for is attending an International event like a Board Workshop or a Founder’s Day Luncheon.
