OPEN HOUSE
Open houses are a great way to generate excitement about your chapter. Pick a theme, secure interesting resources, advertise and open your doors. Be sure to follow up with all the leads you generate! Moms get busy and often appreciate the follow-up reminders of their visits.
Costs for open houses should be moderate. Themed crafts and food is fine, but this is not an excuse to throw a big party. We don’t want to set up the prospective members with the idea that’s what we are all about. Fall and spring are great times of year to host an open house, but it can happen whenever it works best for your chapter.
