TEAM EFFORT
You’ll notice that the list of duties includes a lot. You’re a people person and a do-er, but it’s important to get the whole chapter involved in all aspects of the chapter — including many parts of what’s officially “your” job.
Because of that, it helps the chapter become stronger if you work with a committee and delegate many parts of the job to other people-person members.
A great way to get other moms involved is to form a Membership Committee. Members on the committee can help you greet new moms at meetings and park days. They can help you plan any chapter parties or group-wide activities. They can help you reach out to the other members to encourage them to participate in the various chapter happenings.
Remember, you’re not the only person who helps promote membership in the chapter. The other officers and ALL the members do, too. The more smiling faces a new mom meets, the more she’ll understand how welcoming your chapter is and will want to join.
