A call for people to be on the Nominating Committee is made. The Nominating Committee consists of five members including a chairperson, appointed by the President with the approval of the Executive Board. The purpose of the Nominating Committee is to find all people who are interested in being board members. All qualified members should be approached. Sometimes a person may not volunteer, but if asked would be flattered and interested. It is not the job of the Nominating Committee to discourage people from running for an office, but they can suggest an office if they think someone would be best in that position.
