PROXY VOTES, ABSENTEE BALLOTS AND TIME-TABLE CHANGES
The rules for running an election in the MOMS Club are very clear and are intended to result in a fair and open election. You will notice that under our normal rules, there is a strict time-table for the elections, and proxy votes and absentee ballots are not allowed. If your chapter has a legitimate reason for changing the time-table, or if it wishes to consider absentee ballots, you may write your Coordinator and ask for a one-time change to these rules. Request for proxy votes will not be considered. Any requests for changes need to be presented to your Coordinator well in advance of the election – generally, any requests for changes need to be considered by the Regional Coordinator in April or earlier.
